Tissued frontispiece and eleven inserted plates with illustrations by Ralph Peacock. Malcolm Douglas Sloane's copy with his neat bookplate on the front pastedown endpaper and his signature dated 1895 on the flyleaf. Faint, non-circulating library discard stamp on the front free endpaper, small stain to the upper corner of the fore edge, light wear to corner tips and spine ends.
