In two volumes. Contemporary full green morocco, sides with gold fillet and elaborate gilt decorations, spines lettered and decorated in gold, all edges gilt. Portrait frontispiece, head and tail-pieces designed by Thurston and engraved by Nesbit, Clennel, and Branston. Marie Marow Wilmot, Lady Saye and Sale's copy, with her name written on one of the extra leaves bound in. Portrait frontispiece pasted on the verso of the front free endpaper. Volume I has two extra leaves bound in: one with the owner's name and one with handwritten excerpts from William Wilberforce and an unidentified writer. Volume II has two extra leaves bound in before the title and two at the end: the first two with handwritten excerpts from Cowper poems; the last two with the copy of a Letter from a Quaker to William Cowper, Esq. The handwriting appears to be that of Marie Marow Wilmot. Some light wear, covers slightly sprung. Overall, a very good set. ; Octavo.
